The Kali Gaja Ceramic Black Elephant Bookends are a pair of elephant-shaped bookends made using the ceramic craft of Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, a town renowned across India as a centre of pottery and ceramic ware.
Each bookend is shaped, fired, and finished in a black glaze characteristic of Khurja's ceramic workshops. The pair measures 9"x6"x3" (L).
