Short answer: I am Rahil Jain, founder of Meru Gifting, the corporate gifting studio of Meru Trophy, Bangalore's awards partner since 2000. I started Meru Gifting in 2012 because companies kept asking us for gifts, not just trophies. Today my team and I have delivered 2M+ handcrafted pieces to 250+ institutions from our Bengaluru studio.
Updated September 2026.

Who is Rahil Jain?
I am the founder of Meru Gifting. My family has run Meru Trophy since 2000, making awards and recognition pieces for companies across Bangalore. I grew up around that business — around production timelines, engraving mistakes, and the specific stress of a client calling three days before an annual function asking where their trophies are. In 2012 I started Meru Gifting as a separate studio, because the questions I was getting from the same corporate clients had shifted. They still wanted trophies for December, but they were also asking: what do we give our sales team at Diwali? What do we put in a new-hire kit? What can we send a client in Dubai that will not look like a promotional freebie? Meru Gifting exists to answer those questions properly, not as an afterthought bolted onto a trophy order.
What does Rahil Jain actually do at Meru Gifting?
I run sourcing, vendor relationships and the final sign-off on every bulk order before it leaves our Bengaluru studio at #273/2, SC Road, 2nd Cross, Gandhinagar. That means I still look at mock-ups myself for larger accounts, I still take WhatsApp calls from HR heads who are not sure whether 300 diaries or 300 bottles will land better with their team, and I still visit the artisan clusters we work with under our Dharohar initiative — the Moradabad brass workshops, the Dhokra casters in Chhattisgarh, the Pichwai painters near Nathdwara. Fourteen years in, the parts of the job I still do myself are the parts where a wrong call costs a client their Diwali or their onboarding week.
Lekhan Personalised Leather Stationery Set — Diary & Card Holder₹2,999 · MOQ 50 branded
Kandeel — Leather-Handled Jaali Lantern Pair₹2,050
Bodhi Ankur — Brass Bodhi Tree Showpiece₹2,499
Deepam — Brass Oil Lamp Set of Two₹1,999
Why did I start Meru Gifting instead of just expanding Meru Trophy?
Trophies and corporate gifts are different products with different buying cycles. A trophy order is usually one annual event with a fixed date. Corporate gifting is Diwali, onboarding, client relationships, conference giveaways and retirement gifts, spread across the whole year, at very different price points — from a ₹199 diya set to a ₹40,000 leadership gift. I wanted a team that thought in those terms: budget bands, MOQ, personalisation, delivery timelines, not just engraving and podium finishes. Keeping the two studios distinct, under one roof, let us build that expertise properly instead of treating gifting as a side order.

What is Rahil Jain's background and why should a buyer trust Meru Gifting's advice?
My credibility here is operational, not academic. I have personally handled bulk orders for teams at Tanishq, HDFC Bank, Amazon, ITC, Titan, Infosys and Razorpay, among 150+ brands the wider Meru family has served. I have sat through the awkward calls where a gift arrived late, figured out why, and fixed our process so it did not happen twice. I know which artisanal pieces survive a courier run to a remote city and which need extra packaging. That is the kind of trust I want a buyer to place in Meru Gifting — not "trust us because we say so", but "trust us because we have shipped 2M+ pieces and we tell you plainly what we can and cannot do by your date."
What topics does Rahil Jain write about on this blog?
I write founder notes on the operational reality of corporate gifting: what budgets actually buy, why I insist on mock-ups before bulk production, what happens inside our studio during the Diwali rush, and the questions HR heads ask me most often. These are first-person, not marketing copy — anonymised composites of real orders we fulfil, written the way I would explain it to a founder friend over a call.
